Business Listing Terms
These terms apply to businesses, sole traders, makers, traders, charities, community groups and other organisations that apply to appear in CCG Your Local Network, the directory run by Collective Commerce Group Limited (company number 17375255).
1. Applying
You can apply for a free listing using the List Your Business form. By applying, you confirm that you are authorised to submit the information for the business or organisation, and you give permission for the information and media you provide to be published if your application is approved.
2. Every application is reviewed
Submitting an application does not publish a listing automatically. CCG reviews each application before anything appears publicly. When reviewing, CCG may:
- approve the application and publish it as a live listing;
- request changes or more information before deciding;
- reject the application;
- make reasonable corrections to formatting, spelling or presentation before publishing. We will not add information you did not give us.
Only listings with a published status appear in the public directory. CCG does not have to approve every application.
3. After a listing is published
CCG may edit, unpublish or archive a listing at any time, for example if it becomes outdated or inaccurate, if the business closes, at your request, or if it breaks these terms or our Community Guidelines. Archived and unpublished listings are removed from public view. CCG keeps a record of these decisions as described in our Privacy Policy.
CCG may choose to feature a listing, or mark it as verified where CCG has checked details with the business. These labels are applied only by CCG and can be removed. Featured and verified are never applied automatically.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the information you submit, and for making sure it is accurate, lawful and kept up to date.
- You must have the right to use any logo, image or other content you supply, and you allow CCG to display it as part of your listing and when promoting the directory.
- You must not submit information that is misleading, that impersonates another business or person, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
5. Accuracy and endorsement
Listing information comes from the businesses and organisations themselves. CCG reviews applications but does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party information. A listing does not mean that CCG endorses, recommends or guarantees a business, its products or its services, unless CCG says so explicitly.
6. Removing misleading or inappropriate information
CCG may remove or change any information that it reasonably considers misleading, inappropriate, unlawful, offensive or out of date, and may decline future applications from anyone who misuses the directory.
7. Corrections, updates and removal
To update your listing, correct information or ask for it to be removed, use the contact form and choose Correct or remove a listing. We may need to confirm that you are authorised to act for the business first.
8. Private information
Your application's private details, such as the applicant's name, personal contact details and our review notes, are used only by CCG to review and manage the listing and are not published. Contact details appear on your public listing only where they were provided for publication. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Free listings and changes
Listings in CCG Your Local Network are currently free. We may change how the directory works, or these terms, and will update this page when we do. Our general Terms & Conditions also apply.
